"How Did You Come Up With The Name Hula Pigs?"

We get this question more than anything else. In the 1990s, Hula Pigs founding members, Tony Berry and Dan Reaves, were looking to form a two-piece group to provide additional performing options from their current larger group "Tony Berry & New Money". While tossing around ideas for names of the new duo, Dan's mother came up "Hula Pigs" and everyone liked the name.

Hula Pigs eventually took a back seat as other groups came together and Dan focused on his current group, "Sons of Pirates".  In 2016, Dan introduced Tony to Steve Bollinger, and Hula Pigs resurfaced that year. Dan still sits in with Hula Pigs when he can.

30 years later, Hula Pigs carries on!
